The Company

Our roots lie in scientific research. Uncomfortable with research results only appearing on shelves and in articles, Bioplazon was created to provide solutions to current societal problems.
The excessive amount of improperly used plastics in circulation, and the excess of unused waste from renewable sources, which nevertheless have incredible potential for transformation.
We are a deep tech startup focused on bioplastics and their applications, using profound and complex technologies that have been and continue to be developed to achieve scalability.
We are Bioeconomy: Our bio-packaging is inspired by the Amazon, incorporating waste that was previously discarded and whose potential was not fully exploited. Now, it is being used in highly versatile, economically viable, sustainable products applicable to different niches, such as food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture. Whether applying ready-to-use packaging or developing it based on your needs. With Amazonian solutions for national supply.
We are excited to collaborate to meet your needs.
CEO: Igor Pinto
CEO of Bioplazon, constantly seeking innovative solutions for the bioplastics and sustainable market, with a focus on ESG and Circular Economy.
"My discomfort as a researcher motivated me to go beyond the prototyping bench, leading me to create Bioplazon and see the solution implemented in everyday life."
From the beginning of her undergraduate studies, with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, she participated in scientific research projects. While still an undergraduate, she interned in the pharmaceutical industry for cancer solutions in Chicago, IL, in the United States.
During her Master's degree in Chemistry, she explored the use of nanotechnology, such as nanoparticles and graphene, for detecting everyday problems. She has experience in scientific publications covering areas of nanotechnology, such as graphene and nanoparticles, Amazonian bioactives, and more recently, the detection and characterization of microplastics in the Amazonian biome.
At Bioplazon, he is involved from TRL 0, the beginning and advancement of R&D, to TRL 9, the commercialization of products. He is a promoter of the transformative power of new disruptive solutions, collaborating in the development of natural dyes, cosmetics, and new materials, such as biodegradable 3D filaments.
